Over 45 years ago, a group of parents from several Fairfield County Schools’ special education programs joined together to organize after-school and weekend social activities for the benefit of their children with disabilities.

 

Today, OUR VISION continues its initial purpose and has expanded its work by providing additional opportunities to its members.

We place an emphasis on Special Olympics with our team competing in bowling, track events, and swimming. We strive to instill the principles of independence, good sportsmanship and self-confidence through our training.

 

Our members reside in group homes, independent living situations and private residences. We encourage our members to achieve their greatest potential in community life by participating in and contributing to local programs and events.
